Credit Cards

We can accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. In some parts of the world, these cards have other names. Visa and Visa-compatible credit cards have 16-digit numbers in which the first digit is always a 4. Mastercard and Mastercard-compatible credit cards have 16-digit numbers in which the first digit is always a 5.

If your card complies with one of the foregoing descriptions, we can accept it.

All our prices are quoted in Canadian dollars, which are more or less equivalent to US dollars.

Your credit card information will be encrypted by the software which drives this form, and transmitted in this state. It will not be stored unencrypted on an Internet-accessible file server at any time.

All credit card transactions for Alchemy Mindworks products are handled by electronic communication with our bank, which either accepts or declines them. The bank does not provide us with reasons for declined cards. If your credit card is declined by our bank, you will be notified by telephone or e-mail. In this case, please contact your bank to ascertain why your card was declined, and resubmit your order when the problem has been resolved.

For your security, Alchemy Mindworks' credit card transactions are not processed by a third-party clearing house. Our bank is Moneris Solutions, a division of The Royal Bank of Canada, which has been in existence since 1864.
