The Alchemy Mindworks Download and Installation Problem Solver is available to assist you if you need extra help with downloading or installing a file.

1. Download the installer for this software or patch. You will find several links to each downloadable installer – they all point to identical files. Click on one of the links. If you encounter an error message, the server you selected has reached its capacity – in this case, try another link. Note that our various mirrors have various error messages – anything that doesn't result in your file downloading can be assumed to indicate that the server you selected is too busy to send you the file you asked for.

2. Depending upon your browser configuration, one of the following dialogs will appear prior to your download beginning:
   • Save As: Click on Save to begin downloading. Make sure to note the name of the directory in which your file is being saved.

   • File Download: Select Save This Program To Disk and click on OK. A Save As dialog will appear. Click on Save to begin downloading. Make sure to note the name of the directory in which your file is being saved.

3. Wait for the installer you have selected to be completely downloaded. You need only download one copy of the installer.

4. Make sure there are at least sixteen megabytes of free hard drive space on the primary hard drive for your system – this is usually drive C. Some of this space is used for temporary installer files, and will be freed up as soon as your installation is complete.

5. Make sure there is nothing else running on your system – close any background tasks you have running.

6. Click on the Start button in the Windows task bar and select Run from the menu which appears.

7. Click on Browse in the Run dialog and navigate to where you downloaded the installer to. Select the downloaded installer and click on Open.

8. Click on OK in the Run dialog. The installer will open and walk you through the rest of the installation process. Unless you have a good reason to do otherwise, we recommend that you install your software to its default directory, as selected by the installer.

Do not attempt to install this software or patch by double-clicking on the installer from Windows Explorer, or through the Add/Remove Programs function of the Windows Control Panel. Note that the Add/Remove Programs function can be used to uninstall Alchemy Mindworks applications.
